- Is CFN PAY available at CFNNet retail & Extended (Fuelman) Network sites?
– Retail and Extended (Fuelman) sites are not part of the initial roll-out, this is a 2024 initiative. - In the app, will the driver only see the card assigned to him or her?
– Yes, drivers will ONLY see the cards assigned to them.
– Only the card updated by the Card Issuer with the driver’s credential will be shown in the app. For Floating vehicle cards, the vehicle cards are identified for the driver are seen in the wallet. - Is CFN PAY going to show the price they pay or just gallon information like swiped CFN transactions?
– The app will only display gallons as the price is set by Issuing Marketer. - Can a customer request an additional card and/or make changes to card parameters via the app?
– No, the CFN Marketer aka Card Issuer is the only one who can make card changes. - What happens if I cannot connect while at a site due to no internet or cell connection?
– The CFN PAY Cardless app requires internet connectivity for both the mobile device and POS terminal.
– The contingency is such instances is to use plastic CFN FleetWide card for a swiped transaction. - When changes to my card are requested to the Issuing Marketer, how long will that take to communicate to my card in app?
– Parameter changes take effect immediately. The app does not hold any data pertaining to the features and functionality of the card. All changes occur like they would on a swiped transaction. The exception are adding/removing cards, POS prompt changes and vehicle name changes for cards. These changes take 48 hours. - How are Velocity Controls handled in the App?
– Velocity Controls are HOST based. They are not stored in the app. Think of the app asyour plastic card. Instead of using the card reader to activate the pump, the appactivates the pump. Transactions from the app are tallied with swiped transactions touphold velocity limits. - How long between setting up a CFN PAY card before receiving an invitation?
The invitations will be sent within 2 business days from the Marketer/card issuer creation request.
If user does not get email / text and or if they have lost the email / text invitation, they can still download the app and use their email address or mobile number as a credential to activate the app. If user is still unable to activate their card, contact the Card Issuer for assistance.
– If user is set-up with both email and mobile number, the default invitation will be text invitation.
Users will always log-in to app using email and/or mobile number along with their password or biometric identity based on the initial credential set-up. - How do e-receipts work?
– There are 2 options for e-receipts. Through the host, e-receipts can be set for all transactions – both swiped and cardless. In the app there is an option to set up ereceipts, in addition to the e-receipts that come from the host. This option in the app can be toggled off and on within the settings, notifications section. - Where are Cardless transactions reported?
– User may view completed transactions within the More settings under Transaction History. - Where can I find which sites that are upgraded for Cardless transactions?
– Both CFN PAY and the CFN Site Locator include a filter and an indicator for enabled Cardless Sites. In the CFN Site Locator, cardless sites are designate by the Fillmore Easily icon below and CFN PAY is listed as a payment option. - App is displaying “Pump Not Available Error”, what should I do?
– Contact your Card Issuer for troubleshooting.
– In some cases, the site may not have the product mapped to the correct pumps and will need intervention from the POS Provider. If the site has not had a cardless transaction for a while, a 2nd transaction attempt may be effective to reset the site.
– Card swipe is an alternative for payment. - App is displaying error “You are too far away from you selected station”, what should I do?
– Sites have a 70-meter geofencing. If this detail needs to be adjusted contact your Card Issuer. - App is displaying error “Sorry, we are not able to authorize your payment”, what should I do?
– Contact your Card Issuer to review the decline could be that of a velocity control setting on the card. - If I have previously registered with my email, how do I change to my cell phone number for texts?
– Once you have registered with an email as your primary credential, it is expected that you will always need your email to log in. However, if you need to change from email credentials to text credentials, contact your Card Issuer to remove your set up from all systems and be set up as new user with phone number for text instead. Contact Card Issuer with any questions or concerns. - . I thought I had registered months ago but my invitation isn’t working. How can I start using the app?
– If no invitation is received, please go to the app store and download the CFN PAY app. Attempt to register user with the “Recover via email”. If that doesn’t work, use the “Recover via mobile” option. Use your email and/or mobile phone number as your username. If you continue to have log in errors, contact your Card Issuer
